Screw cliff hangers

Screw cliff hangers

So you don't think drastic could have happen within a day right?

Well today every single event are like accidents happening to me again and again and again till I bleed and die. And thus I've decided to just let the safety balloon pop and release myself from this self torture.

I've always been uptight with everything - Grades, Criticisms, Relationships, Failures, Work... And I've always took them seriously and made sure that I keep them up or out. But when it doesn't go as planned? I crash.

What doesn't kill you makes you stronger, right? Then why doesn't it work for me?

Today I crumbled under these parasites and I had to constantly cheer myself up throughout the entire day (I was shopping, watching movie, eating good food... and it doesn't even help). Really, I was distracted, unbalanced, and disturbed. PB could tell. I even teared out of the blue zzzzzzzzzzzzz. Shame on you if you're pulling out your sympathizing handkerchief.

Because today, is an awful day, but a good day for a change. If it will happen or not, I'm not to sure. But I'd love to try.

Again, what time is it?!

Again, what time is it?!

I'm sorry K-Pop haters (like PB and many others...) but I got to blog about this.

Last night was amazing. We had a countdown to Saint O'Clock (12am KST) on Twitter's #saint2AM channel. And the result of that made me utterly speechless --

The official site crashed, soribada credit download site lagged like mad crazy, the charts were piling, twitter was spamming... and it was my first time downloading music legally (iTunes store isn't available in SG so it isn't entirely my fault right, hahahh). So for $17, I downloaded 40 tracks. CHEAP RIGHT.

Anyway Saint O'Clock managed to top the charts, #01, in Soribada, Melon, etc, owning SNSD's crap song "Hoot". Best thing is, every single track, all 11 of them, went into Mnet's top 30. Yes, each and every single track, including the prelude instrumental phone-ringing introduction.

This whole 2AM comeback distracted me from my R&C contracts paper but it's a good sideline entertainment whilst I take a break off the dry notes.

I STUDIED. PLEASE PRAY FOR ME. I NEED WISDOM.

Now what's next that can make my life complete, is to receive the package in mail, shipped directly from Korea... which contains my beloved albums, both standard and limited edition, with all its goodies inside.

Can't wait. Till then, I can't die yet.

Sidebar update

Sidebar update

I know I shouldn't even be blogging considering I have tonnes to study (my hated Rights & Contracts paper is on Tuesday). But please check out my updated sidebar with all its brand new links, updates, and newly added 'Trending 叮' bar.

I know my layout still looks unattractive, as always, but I don't know what to do about it.

FYI. What does 叮 means, you ask me. Well it's read as ding(1), and that's what all Chinese/Taiwanese say when they want to trend or up a topic. It's like the term "bump" that we always use.

Anyway the main reason why I can't focus is because... 2AM's comeback is on Tuesday, 12pm KST (11am SGT). And the annoying thing is that at that time I'm most probably sitting in a freezing room, writing and cursing away as I'm doing my R&C paper. Can't believe I can't be there to do the countdown and spam my trending tweets.

Life sucks as it always is.

[/edit] it's 12am instead! ;-D

What time is it?

What time is it?

It's Saint o'clock!

I know most of you don't even listen to K-pop, but in case some of you do and some of you don't wanna miss out on awesome talents, please do support 2AM as they make their comeback with their new album.

This time round there's a Limited Edition ver. which comes with pictorial booklets and other goodies. But stocks are limited, of course, so it's best if you pre-order.

Support 'em!

P.S. Catch "71: Into The Fire" epic Korean war film, which is coming into our theatres soon.
P.P.S. Sure you don't wanna watch? T.O.P from Big Bang will be one of the main casts! ;-)

Run devil, devil run run

Run devil, devil run run

I went jogging today at 12am... after five years of absence from sports.

And this is how I look like right after the run:

I know, I look like I just went through torture camp.

I swear I feel like dying now. My legs feel wobbly, my thighs feel weary, and I can sense that evil ache heading my way.

But I'm still glad I went for it.

So I ran round BB, then head to BG and back, for two rounds, chasing after baby bro Josh. I wanted to give up so badly midway but I hanged on with the thought of stepping up my stamina.

Now I can't even walk. I sprawled on the floor the moment I stepped into the house.

P.S. Thanks PB for the body stretch link! <3

Weekday blues and all the other love-hate relationship

Weekday blues and all the other love-hate relationship

I love Mondays 'cos I can look forward to Tuesday when there is no school.
I hate Tuesdays 'cos I have to finish up all my other work for Wednesday.
I hate hate hate Wednesdays 'cos the thought of Rights Class on Thursday is killing me.
I love love love Thursdays 'cos Friday is awesome and there's a long weekend waiting for me.
I love Fridays 'cos Saturday calls for a sleep-in.
I hate Saturdays 'cos Sunday is Monday's call-up.
I hate Sundays just because.

Have I mentioned how much I hate Rights & Contracts Class?

I hate R&C.
I hate R&C.
I hate R&C.
I hate R&C.
I hate R&C.
I hate R&C.
I hate R&C.
I hate R&C.
I hate R&C.

Ugh. I hate R&C.

Nom nom

Nom nom

So today marks our trio's (PB, Tofu, and Jo's) healthy-living diet plan.

What goes on exactly is that we can't exceed our calorie intake, have to consume a lot less carbohydrates, eat more protein, and take in less fried food for the weekdays. But we can enjoy 1 full day of good food on one weekend. Anyone who breaks the pact after a week's evaluation has to treat the others to eat.

Sounds like a plan to me ;-)

Well of course one can cheat but well, it's their loss for not being able to shed weight by the end of the day, right?

Ugh

Ugh

PB's bro imported some Kate Spade bags to sell. And guess what? Their aunt bought the exact same one as mine - Same design, same color.

Knowing that an auntie (and one that I know) owns the same bag as me equals me not bringing it out ever again. PB, don't blame me.

My life sucks. To think that I was so proud of it...
My happiness is short-lived.

:-(

I talk a lot when I have the chance to

I talk a lot when I have the chance to

So I fell sick. Alas.

I knew it was coming when my eye bags start to grow, my voice turns hoarse, my shit won't come out (it's been inside for 2 days already), my head spins, and I'm utterly stressed.

So we were demanded to hand in major assignments by Sunday, which is today. And these strings of emails from a singular lecturer just killed me:

One: NO SKETCHES, PLEASE. BRING IN SOMETHING PHOTOSHOPPED. IF YOU CAN'T DO THAT, GET SOMEONE TO HELP YOU.

Two: REMEMBER: ALL KEY ART PRESENTED THIS WEEK IN SENIOR PROJECT MUST BE POSTED ON TURNITIN BY THIS SUNDAY.

Three: I'D LIKE ALL TO PRESENT THEIR MARKETING PLANS ON POWERPOINT SO THAT THEY CAN BE BEST PRESENTED TO THE CLASS. ASSIGNMENT MUST BE POSTED ON TURNITIN BY THE END OF SUNDAY, 10/10.

Four: FOR THOSE WHO HAVE NOT ALREADY DONE SO, PLEASE SUBMIT TO ME THE CURRENT STATE OF YOUR TREATMENT, OUTLINE OR SCRIPT NOW.

I don't understand why the mails can't come at one go, and why are they all in CAPS. They stress me out, really.

Regarding the key art (aka. posters), I remember him saying "sketch". Whatever happened to the "sketch"? I blame it all on some smart alecs who like splashing on their photoshop skills. What our lecturer needs to know is... Only like, 2 guys in our entire cohort is good at photoshop. And to finish it by weekend is totally bullcrap.

Anyway my past week was pretty fun.

I went for Gina's soccer match for the very first time. You probably don't believe it - In our 5 years of friendship, I haven't once watched her match, hahah! Didn't want to initially but she managed to persuade me. How did she do that?!

She's quite zai on the field. They sub her in at the last 25mins; and the moment she stepped in, she helped another player score a goal.

Anyway. I was asked to help keep her lappy and thus I put it in my bag. Throughout the day I kept reminding her to take it back from me 'cos I might just take it home since I'm soooo used to the weight. I reminded her till the very last minute before I board the bus home... but I still went up with it anyway, and Gina just forgot about it totally.

WE EVEN WAVED GOODBYE TO EACH OTHER VERY HAPPILY. GOSH.

So she and CC came over on Friday night to retrieve it. And they stayed to play with Jojo. This is the cute thing - After they left guess who called me at 12am?

Lim Jia Yun.

She wants to stayover, HAHAHHH, at 12am, from the other side of Singapore. She's mad crazy, I tell you. And so she did -- For two days straight. We're the best, aren't we?

P.S. New lingo from JY and I: This thing is so 强!

He is wrapping up! K bye!

Log ended at end of class.
